By using my website or purchasing my services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information I Collect

I may collect the following categories of information.

Information you provide directly

This may include:

  • Your name

Please do not submit information that is unnecessary for the consulting service you are purchasing.

Payment information

Payments may be processed through Stripe and EveryExpert. I do not directly collect or store your complete credit-card number, banking credentials, or payment-security code.

Stripe and EveryExpert may collect and process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies. I may receive limited transaction information, such as your name, email address, amount paid, payment status, and transaction date.

Information collected automatically

When you visit my website, WordPress, its service providers, and any enabled security, analytics, or performance tools may automatically collect information such as:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser and device type
  • Operating system
  • Referring website
  • Pages visited
  • Dates and times of visits
  • General geographic location
  • Cookie and similar technology identifiers

2. How I Use Information

I may use personal information to:

  • Provide screenplay-consulting services
  • Review submitted scripts and other creative material
  • Schedule and conduct sessions
  • Respond to questions and communications
  • Process payments and maintain transaction records
  • Provide session notes, recordings, transcripts, summaries, or action items
  • Manage cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and disputes
  • Improve my website, services, and customer experience
  • Detect fraud, misuse, or security problems

I will send promotional email only when you have consented to receive it or when otherwise permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.

3. Screenplays and Other Creative Material

You retain ownership of the scripts, pitches, outlines, loglines, and other creative material you submit.

I use submitted creative material only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Perform the service you purchased
  • Prepare for and conduct your consultation
  • Provide feedback
  • Respond to reasonable follow-up questions
  • Maintain records relating to the service
  • Address disputes or legal claims

Submitting material for consultation does not transfer any copyright or ownership interest to me.

I will not intentionally publish, sell, publicly distribute, adapt, produce, or claim ownership of your creative work without your permission. This does not prevent me from independently creating or working on material resembling any general ideas, themes, genres, character types, or story elements found in your submission. This is standard for the industry, but if you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please feel free to contact me.

4. EveryExpert Sessions, Transcripts, and AI Processing

Consulting services may be delivered through EveryExpert.

EveryExpert may host video sessions and process session audio, video, messages, uploaded material, and other content to provide features such as:

  • Full transcripts
  • AI-generated summaries
  • Key topics
  • Action items
  • Session records

By participating in a session through EveryExpert, you acknowledge that the session may be processed in this manner. Please note that I personally never use AI or LLMs when working, whether consulting or in my original work, but EveryExpert does use it to generate summaries of our sessions for the client to keep once the session has ended.

EveryExpert’s collection, storage, use, and retention of information are governed by its own terms and privacy practices. You should avoid discussing or submitting information that is not necessary for the consultation.

Contact me before booking if you have concerns about the above.
